Handcrafted Jewellery with a Story to Tell
Born in Byron Bay, Salty Dagger is an independent jewellery brand built around storytelling, creativity and a love for making things by hand. Their designs draw inspiration from people, places, adventure and the little things that make life interesting, with each piece carrying its own story.
Working alongside a team of skilled Indonesian artisans, Salty Dagger creates jewellery using traditional hand-carving and casting techniques that have been around for thousands of years. Each design begins as a hand-carved wax model before being cast in silver, with plenty of time and attention given to the details along the way.
There's a real appreciation for individuality and the beauty of handmade things in everything they create. Their pieces have a slightly raw, lived-in feel, with interesting textures and details that give each design its own character.
Recycled Silver & Traditional Craftsmanship
Salty Dagger puts a big focus on slow craftsmanship, with every piece hand-carved and made in small batches rather than mass produced. Their jewellery is crafted using traditional wax carving and casting methods, allowing for the little details and imperfections that make handmade pieces special.
Their silver jewellery is made using 100% recycled sterling silver, while their gold pieces feature 3.5-micron 24k gold vermeil. From chunky rings and signets to pendants, cuffs and bracelets, there's a great mix of pieces that are made to be worn, collected and treasured over time.
