Designed in Australia, their collections take inspiration from individuality, culture and the things that make us who we are, with pieces made to be worn, loved and built to last.
Working alongside a team of highly skilled artisans in Bali, Merchants of the Sun creates jewellery using traditional hand-carving and lost-wax casting techniques. Each design begins as an idea, carefully sketched and sculpted by hand before being brought to life through small-batch production.
There's a real appreciation for thoughtful design and traditional craftsmanship in everything they create. Their pieces strike a balance between understated and distinctive, with classic shapes, interesting details and a timeless feel that works just as well every day as it does for something a little more special.
Recycled Sterling Silver & Considered Craftsmanship
Merchants of the Sun put a big focus on quality materials and traditional craftsmanship, with their jewellery handcrafted in small batches by skilled artisans rather than mass producing. Using traditional lost-wax casting techniques, each design is carefully shaped, cast and finished by hand, allowing plenty of attention to go into the finer details.
Their collections are made using recycled 925 sterling silver and 18k gold vermeil, combining quality materials with considered design. From chunky signet rings and classic silver bands to pendants, chains, bracelets and cuffs, there's a great mix of pieces that are made to become part of your everyday rotation.
